At Long Beach Medical Centre, we facilitate WorkCover claims for patients injured in the workplace. The first consultation will typical require you to pay, however, most patient will have this amount reimbursed by the WorkCover insurer once a claim is successful. Upon verification of eligibility and completion of necessary documentation, we will bill WorkCover directly for medical services rendered. Patients are required to provide accurate claim details and any necessary authorization prior to treatment. Any expenses not covered by WorkCover will be the responsibility of the patient. We are committed to transparent billing practices and will assist patients with any queries regarding their WorkCover claims. Long Beach Medical Centre offers priority appointment for those patients who registed with My Medicare using Long Beach Medical Centre as their home clinic. Extended consultations & telehealth services will be available for My Medicare registrants.
You are not bonded with My Medicare registration; you will be free to change your registration if your circumstances change.
Even when you are registered through Long Beach Medical Centre, you are free to book other doctors in other clinics. However, the extended benefits are available only through your home clinic (Long Beach Medical Centre)
We bulk bill standard consults of 10min max for those who have a valid Medicare card provided they either hold Commonwealth Health card or are under the age of 16. Please refer to our “Fees” page for further information
